Educational Qualification
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering or Technology or 5 years integrated Master Degree. Engineering Degree recognized by UPSC/ AICTE as equivalent to BE/BTech in the disciplines of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
Age Limit and Relaxation
27 Years for Graduates in Engineering or Technology and 29 years for Post Graduates of Engineering or Management Engineering. Age Relaxation for SC/ST candidates 5 years, for OBC 3 years, for Physically Challenged candidates 10 years for General, 13 years for OBC and 15 years for SC/ST persons.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected based upon GATE 2012 scored and performance in interview. For PH candidates relaxation of 20% below the cutoff marks will be provided. Final selection of candidates including weightage of 75% for GATE 2012 and 25% marks to interview marks.
How to apply
Eligible candidates may apply and should be read full advertisement and carefully filled up application, it cannot be edited/changed later, while submitting the application candidate should be provided a valid email id, it is used for further future information getting from BHEL.
On submission of online application, system will generate acknowledgement slip; take printout of the acknowledgement slip, affix a same copy of photograph used for GATE 2012 sing at space and send to BHEL along with challan of Rs.100
