Total Number of Vacancies: 250
Name of Posts: Assistant Engineers (Electrical), Number of Posts: 225
Name of Posts: Assistant Engineers (Telecom), Number of Posts: 25
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have passed/Completed BE/BTech/AMIE in Electronics / Electronics and Communications Engineering or Telecommunications or equivalent qualification in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.

Age Limit and Relaxation
Candidates age not more than 34 years as on 01-07-2011. Age Relaxation 5 years for SC/ST/BC candidates and 10 years for PH (Physically Challenged) candidates.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected based on written examination (candidates who secured highest marks in test) and community wise called for verification of original certificates in 1: 1 ratio. The Minimum qualifying marks 40% for General Candidates (OC), 35% marks for OBC and 30% marks for SC/ST candidates.
Application Fee
Each candidate have to pay application processing fee Rs.150. Applicants under General category also pay Rs.350 examination fee. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and PH category candidates need not to pay this fee. Candidates other than AP State will be considered General Category candidates.
How to apply
Interested and Eligible candidates may apply Online through official website of APTRANSCO website www.aptransco.gov.in or http://aptransco.cgg.gov.in . Candidates have to read the user guide before online registration submission. Candidates can pay application fee in any one of the AP online Centers, after paying fee 12 digits Journal Number will allotted to the candidate, candidates have to enter Journal number while online apply.
