Name of Posts: Assistant Surgeons in Junior Class-I under Health & Family Welfare Department
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have passed Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from any recognized university or equivalent qualification. Candidates must have completed Housemanship for at least one year.
Age Limit and Age Relaxation
Candidate’s age should be between 21 to 32 years as on the 01-08-2011. 5 years Age Relaxation for candidates belonging to SEBC/SC/ST/Women/Ex Servicemen, 10 years relaxation for PH candidates
Examination Fee
Candidates have to pay application fee Rs.50 in shape of deposit of the amount in the Government Treasury under the Head: 0051-PSC-105-State PSC Examination Fee, Fee to paid in the form of Demand Draft (DD) in favour of Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission payable at any Scheduled Bank at Cuttack. Original Treasury Challan/Bank Draft/Pay Order must be sent to the Commission along with application.

Interested and Eligible candidates may apply in the prescribed format (it can be downloaded from official website http://opsc.nic.in). Properly filled applications along with true copies of certificates duly attested by Gazetted Officer or Self certified and candidates should also mention “submitted by me” copies of certificates educational, caste and application fee to be sent below address before closing date.
