Name of Posts: Clerical (Assistants), Number of Posts: 8500
Name of Posts: Stenographers (Hindi/English), Number of Posts: 1000
Educational Qualifications
Candidates should have passed/completed Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination with minimum 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-serviceman) OR Degree in any discipline from a recognized university OR candidates who have passed Diploma recognized by State Board of Technical Education and Training of concerned state.
Age Limit and Relaxation
Candidates Age should be between 18 to 28 years as on 01-12-2011. 5 Years Age Relaxation For candidates belonging to SC/ST category, 3 Years relaxation for OBC candidates. Candidates belonging to PDW (General) relaxation 10 years, 15 years for PDW (SC/ST) category candidates, 13 year for PDW (OBC) category candidates.
Selection Procedure and Exam Pattern
Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the written test and interview taken together. Written test will be of objective type consisting a) General Awareness b) Quantitative Aptitude c) Reasoning Ability d) Marketing Aptitude/Computer Knowledge. (SBI Clerks Previous Paper given below)

-For Clerical Assistant Posts: General and OBC candidates have to pay Application Fee Rs.350 and SC/ST/PWD/Ex Servicemen’s Rs.50
-For Assistant and Stenographers (Hindi only): General and OBC candidates have to pay Application Fee Rs.500 and SC/ST/PWD/Ex Servicemen’s Rs.50.
-For Assistant and Stenographers (English only): General and OBC candidates have to pay Application Fee Rs.500 and SC/ST/PWD/Ex Servicemen’s Rs.50
-For Assistant and Stenographers (English and Hindi both): General and OBC candidates have to pay Application Fee Rs.650 and SC/ST/PWD/Ex Servicemen’s Rs.50
Application Fee who have already applied earlier for clerical (Assistants) Posts and now applying for Stenographers posts
-For Assistant (applied earlier) and Stenographers (Hindi): General and OBC candidates have to pay Application Fee Rs.150 and SC/ST/PWD/Ex Servicemen’s not required to pay fee
-For Assistant (applied earlier) and Stenographers (English): General and OBC candidates have to pay Application Fee Rs.150 and SC/ST/PWD/ Ex Servicemen’s not required to pay fee
-For Assistant and Stenographers (English and Hindi both): General and OBC candidates have to pay Application Fee Rs.300 and SC/ST/PWD/ Ex Servicemen’s not required to pay fee

Interested and Eligible candidates may apply Online through official website of www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in . Candidates should have valid email, it will be useful for getting information like call letters, Interview and further communications from Bank to candidates, if doesn’t have email id, it has to be created before online Registration. After completion of Online Registration take printout and keep with candidate.
